As I wrote in a post from a few weeks ago, my travel itch has been getting stronger of late. Today I was reminiscing about some of our experiences last year in Singapore—specifically, some of our more interesting food experiences. Today I’d like to share with you photos of some of the desserts we were lucky (for the most part) enough to try during our stay in Singapore.
I don’t know if durian can be called a dessert, but it was certainly different than any fruit we’d had before! It has a very strong flavor and a very strong scent—so strong in fact, that there are laws prohibiting bringing the fruit onto the subway, and into many public buildings. The husband and I actually liked it.
